Good morning Lovely

Have you had your morning coffee? Tea? Mine is still brewing. :)

It's been tugging on my heart lately... a good woman I know was recently slandered.
I know, it is inevitable, people will talk badly about your business, badly about you. If it hasn't happened yet, one day it will.

When men speak ill of thee, live so as nobody may believe them.

I remember several years ago a situation that burned a slow hole in my heart. You spend so long building up a brand, making sure all your i's are dotted and t's are crossed and in a single day you feel someone can tear down what it took years to build. I was there. I felt that pain. But I also know there are people that stood by me and those that knew it was but one of a hundred. And they continue to stand by me.

Lovely, we will continue to stand by you. :)

And said recently by my sweet souled Amy Quarrier :
There’s nothing wrong with taking time for yourself. People love to throw guilt around, delivering it in a sing song voice that plays on repeat in your head. But there’s freedom in knowing that its your choice whether to accept that as your truth. You choose. You choose who you allow to speak into your life. You choose who you allow to make waves in your still water, good waves and bad:) Enjoy today. Love who you are.

Love. Who. You. Are.
For you are beautiful.

I am working on my first cup of coffee.

Your post reminds me of a quote that goes like this:
"It's a good thing to have all the props pulled out from under us occasionally. It gives us some sense of what is rock under our feet, and what is sand."
— Madeleine L'Engle

Hope you have a lovely day!
