Suzanne and Ruben | Sneak Peek

This past weekend we photographed our last wedding of 2011
and it's as if we're ending the year on this huge BANG!
Everything was perfect.
Although I've been horrible about blogging lately, I sit here now remembering Suzanne and Ruben's wedding and it's almost impossible to sum it up in a few words.
It was the dream team. Kelli Toal did hair and makeup. Our old intern Nichole showed up to run the photobooth, the sun hid behind a few clouds (the perfect lighting!), the rain subsided and Suzanne and Ruben were filled with tears and laughter the entire afternoon. It was a joy to be there.

I will never forget the first email I received from Suzanne, a year ago. It was oozing with so much love I thought for certain, such a girl could not exist! "I love your style! We share a love of paper, love rubber stamps, vintage, etc etc"  Then I put a face with this bubbly woman and if ever there was an "Inkedfingers" bride, she is, always positive and there was not a moment the day of her wedding where she wasn't laughing, joking, pulling Ruben closer.

We were commissioned for Inkedfingers cinema, a mini video of the wedding combining both video and photos. It takes a lot of work to go through the clips, time it with the song, add photos, choose the music, etc, but it's getting easier with time. I hope to convey all the joy & laughter there that day.

From the bottom of our heart, Suzanne and Ruben, thank you for letting us be a small part of the day. I will never forget the look on your faces as you read other those love notes. I was not privileged to know what heart's devotion you shared, but I do know that generations to come can not forget those few sacred moments.

Congratulations. We can't wait for you to see all of them, but here is a sneaky peeky.
Sending lots of love,

Carli & Johnny

I just opened my inbox to read this little love note!!!

Hello Carli and John!
Thank you so very much, from the bottom of my heart, for being our fantastic photographers at our wedding on Sunday. Everyone raved about the pictures from our engagements and had a blast at the photobooth. I can't wait to see what you were able to capture! I know it was a bit crazy and I also wanted to say thank you for helping me out with a few random small tasks that were above and beyond your duty as a photographer.

Thank you again for being a part of our lives, as our photographers and also as our friends.

Suzanne (and Ruben!)
