She's the beauty and brawns behind
Jane is a talented food blogger and incredible photographer.
Following a quick photoshoot at her house for a recent brand collaboration, (I'll show you those photos soon) she invited me on her latest culinary adventure: indulging in the decadence of the locally owned Hillside Farmacy.
Thank you Jane!
You can see her full version of our date on her blog HERE.
I asked her what her favorite food of ALL TIME was.
She said fries.
See Jane toast
(a drink that tastes like the color purple.)
Meet my drink:
(with a sprig of mint).
as she always does.
See Jane and creepy stalker photog take her picture.
It goes unsaid the food is otherworldly here.
I have been here in the past for brunch and lunch but never dinner. We indulged on kale caesar salad, roasted chicken with a charred lemon veloute and malt vinegar fries, to name a few. Our server Maggie (whom I forgot to ask for a digital picture of, we shot a polaroid of her we gifted her) was also a gem. This place is a step back in time. Just my speed.
Let's hang out again soon.
Thank you so much for spoiling me
and inviting me along on your adventures!
If you lovelies are ever in Austin absolutely add Hillside Farmacy on the East side
to your must-visit list!
While you're at it, stroll down the street to one of my favorite vintage stores
Charm School Vintage. The owner Shari's smile is worth the trip alone!
